Team Hawk Takes On Tough Mudder
On Saturday, 25th July, Team Hawk took on the Tough Mudder 5K, tackling a course packed with challenging obstacles, plenty of mud and lots of team spirit, all in support of the Stroke Association & A Shining Light (Teenage Cancer Trust).
The team faced challenges such as army-style crawling under barbed wire, a freezing ice bath, high altitude climbing, human pyramid team building, and even electroshock obstacles, pushing themselves through every challenge along the way. Needless to say, everyone crossed the finish line covered head to toe.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to come together outside of work, support a worthwhile cause and raise money for the Stroke Association & A Shining Light.
Every year, Stroke Association provide tailored support, information and advice to tens of thousands of people affected by strokes. They fund critical scientific research and campaign to ensure people affected by stroke receive the very best care.
A Shining Light is a school-based community charity in Howden, aiming to raise money for frontline NHS services and Teenage Cancer Trust. The fund is inspired by Luke Stevens, who tragically lost his battle with cancer in 2021.
A huge thank you and well done to everyone who took part, and to everyone who supported the team and donated. It's not too late to make a donation to our cause, check out our fundraising page here.
