Hawk Take On Tough Mudder This Summer
Hawk Furniture is stepping out of the workshop and into the mud this summer, as the team gears up to take on the Tough Mudder 5K on Saturday 25th July.
The Tough Mudder 5K is designed to challenge both physical endurance and mental resilience, it brings participants together to climb, crawl, and conquer a series of demanding obstacles. For the Hawk team, it’s not just about crossing the finish line, it’s about coming together, supporting one another, and making a meaningful difference along the way.
This year, the team is proud to be raising funds for two important causes: the Stroke Association and a local community charity, A Shining Light.
Every year, Stroke Association provide tailored support, information and advice to tens of thousands of people affected by strokes. They fund critical scientific research and campaign to ensure people affected by stroke receive the very best care.
A Shining Light is a school-based community charity in Howden, aiming to raise money for frontline NHS services and Teenage Cancer Trust. It was inspired by Luke Stevens, who tragically lost his battle with cancer in 2021.
By taking part in the Tough Mudder, Hawk Furniture hopes to contribute to the incredible work these charities do every day.
We are inviting customers, partners, and the wider community to get involved by supporting our fundraising efforts. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference and motivate the team as we tackle the course.
